As part of the ongoing Smart-In-Ag collaborative research project, a letter of collaboration is signed between WUR, KPBS Pangalengan, IPB University and Padjadjaran University. The four parties were respectively represented by Prof. Dr. Ir. Henk Hogeveen (the Smart-In-Ag Project Coordinator), drh. Asep Rahmat Khaerudin (Deputy Secretary of KPBS Pangalengan), Prof. Dr. Ir. Iskandar Z. Siregar (Vice Rector for Global Connectivity, Collaboration and Alumni) and Dr. Endang Yuni Setyowati (Head of Veterinary Medicine Study Program).
The letter of collaboration aims to ensure a fruitful future collaboration between KPBS Pangalengan, WUR and Indonesian universities regarding research within and outside the Smart-In-Ag project. Such collaborations may include (1) the use by one of the parties of routinely collected data by KPBS Pangalengan, (2) the collection of additional data on farms within KPBS Pangalengan, and (3) joint research and development activities.
